BRAND DESIGN / HORN · VIENNA · LOWER AUSTRIA

Your brand, down to the printed detail.

A menu, flyer or business card is often a direct point of contact with your business. Brand design connects these individual materials into a consistent presence. We design menus, cards, flyers and business cards around the existing identity of your brand.

Clarity is part of the design

A menu needs to organise choices clearly. A flyer needs a recognisable message and a useful next step. A business card needs to be readable and provide the right contact details. Its format, typography and imagery should therefore reflect its purpose, as well as how it looks.

Existing colours, typefaces and your logo provide a starting point. If there are no established guidelines, we discuss which design decisions need to be made before the project can move forward.

Plan content and use together

Before design begins, the amount of text, format and intended use should be clear. Is the menu used every day or only for an event? Will the offer need frequent updates? Should the flyer also work as a digital document? These questions affect the structure, choice of materials and required file versions.

Existing photography may be suitable, or you can enquire about a separate shoot. The materials should also feel connected to your website and social content, rather than becoming isolated designs.

What to settle before print approval

To begin, we need approved copy, contact details, brand assets and any printer specifications. Content and layout are reviewed before final approval. Who commissions the printing, the quantity required and which tasks are included should be explicitly agreed. Design work and printing costs are separate considerations, so it helps to distinguish them in the brief.
